Fiberglaze Introduce
Fiberglaze is a highly specialized local contractor serving the Midland and greater Charlotte, North Carolina, region. While some might categorize us with general "home goods stores" due to our focus on fixtures, our expertise is highly concentrated in the realm of surface restoration. We are the area's trusted specialists in bathtub and tile refinishing (often called reglazing), providing homeowners with a cost-effective, fast, and remarkably clean alternative to expensive, messy, and time-consuming full bathroom remodels.
We understand that North Carolina homeowners face common problems with aging bathrooms: tubs that are stained, chipped, or have outdated colors, and tiles that are difficult to clean or simply look worn out. Fiberglaze offers a professional solution delivered by experienced technicians, like David, who are highly praised for their skill and professionalism. Our process involves meticulously preparing the surface, repairing any existing damage—such as chips or cracks in fiberglass or porcelain—and applying a durable, high-tech acrylic resin coating that bonds permanently to the old surface, making it look and feel brand new.
For residents across Mecklenburg and Cabarrus Counties, choosing Fiberglaze means opting for a service that extends the life of your existing fixtures by years, all while saving you significantly over replacement costs. Customers consistently highlight the exceptional results and courteous service, noting that technicians are "Professional, courteous, and quick," and deliver work that is "absolutely excellent" with a final result that leaves the tub or shower looking "brand new!" This commitment to quality and minimal disruption is what sets Fiberglaze apart as a premier bathroom surface specialist in the region.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Don’t look elsewhere for tub reglazing! David did an Aweosome job, came on time and even waited patiently for an hour for me to get to my duplex, as I was running behind due to moving the same day. Professional, courteous, and quick. Cleaned up after himself and left the tub/shower combo looking brand new! Thanks again, sincerely, the young couple.
August 26 · leo livarchukFiberGlaze is absolutely excellent. I had a Refinisher named David that did a Awesome job on my walk in shower And refinished my downstairs guest bathroom and tiles I was referred by a previous customer of his and I am extremely happy with the results and the price. The price i was quoted was the price that I paid! Excellent Work!!! Will use again will refer to others.
June 19 · J GibbsI am so happy to add an opposite extreme review for Fiberglaze and David!Because I got a recommendation from my contractor, I was not swayed by the one sole review, which was lousy. (I feel bad for ANY business owner, but especially a local, small business owner, who does quality work but gets an unfair review that lives on, regardless of how many good jobs he/she did before this or will do after this.)At any rate, I had a tub/shower combo and a walk-in shower that were in desperate need of TLC. David quoted me a price based on pictures that I texted, did a lovely job making both of them like new, and charged me the amount he’d estimated, even though that was just via texted pictures. He was also a wealth of information, about the process and how to take care of my like-new showers as well as in answering random grout/caulk questions I had.Without getting too detailed here, I’ll just say David could have tried to up-sell me with one of the showers, but did not, which I so appreciate. He seems to know his trade inside and out and take pride in his work and customer service. The job was just completed so we won’t use the showers for a day or so. I fully expect that I’ll be just as happy using the showers as I am looking at them, though. If not, I’ll report back here, but only after giving David a chance to do right by the customer.I’d definitely include Fiberglaze in your reglazing research and don’t think you’ll regret your decision if you go with them!I hope this helps someone out there...
June 07 · Blake LeggettDavid did an amazing job glazing our bisque shower pan to bright white! He is very thorough and pays incredible attention to detail. The entire process was seamless. I wish I would’ve done this a long time ago.
February 13 · Cathy SzydlowskiThey came and on time. He did a really nice job except the next day we noticed and the overflow drain it was scratched etc. where it was put back on. We have called from both of our phone numbers and keep getting a voice mail and leave messages to please call us to discuss what they will do about it. Plus I had paid extra for a 10 year warranty and can not get any paperwork proving that! I looked up both addresses and applied to Google maps and they are homes in a residential neighborhood. I have a feeling we have been had!
