Bath Fitter Introduce
When Minnesotans think about tackling a home renovation project, the bathroom often tops the list—but so does the dread of demolition, dust, and weeks of unusable space. Bath Fitter in Roseville, MN, is a unique operation that bridges the gap between a traditional general contractor and a specialized home goods store, offering a tailored solution for this common homeowner challenge. While classified formally as a Bathroom Remodeler, Contractor, and Interior Construction Contractor, their core business is built around the speedy, mess-free installation of custom-manufactured acrylic bathtub and shower systems.
This Roseville location acts as a hub for sales, design consultation, and a Showroom where customers from the greater Twin Cities area can visualize their potential Bath Transformations. Unlike a traditional home goods store that merely sells supplies, Bath Fitter provides a full, integrated service: they custom-manufacture their Acrylic Tubs, Acrylic Shower Liners, and Seamless Wall panels to fit perfectly over your existing wet area, minimizing the need for messy demolition. This proprietary approach allows them to offer what many customers value most: One Day Installations.
Customer experiences with this method are often polarizing, making due diligence crucial for potential clients. A highly satisfied homeowner noted the exceptional professionalism: “Our installer from bathfitters was awesome. He confirmed all of the choices we made and double-checked multiple times to make sure everything was accurate before any work began and along the way. Plus he kept the work area and pathway in & out of the house meticulously clean. The way he communicated about the time & process of the install was fantastic, very detailed steps and timelines. Overall the easiest and smoothest contracted projects we've ever had completed!” This testimonial highlights the success of their streamlined, specialized installation process when executed properly.
Conversely, the unique installation method and customer service can sometimes lead to significant issues, as detailed in a negative review: “My experience with Bath Fitter has been a masterclass in incompetence, communication failure, and complete disregard for customer property.” This customer experienced serious problems, including damage to property, severed electrical wiring during a removal that they claimed was not part of the contract, and poor installation quality in the final product (misaligned overflow pipe, uneven caulking, and non-secure trim). This stark contrast in experiences underscores a key point for any Minnesota homeowner considering Bath Fitter: while their process is designed for speed and convenience, clarity on the contract scope (especially surrounding demolition of jetted tubs or full removals), and meticulous quality control during the installation are absolutely paramount. It is vital to confirm who is responsible for all aspects of the job, including electrical and plumbing disconnections, before any work begins.
The Roseville showroom serves as a crucial resource for customers to explore options for Bathroom Safety, including Walk In Shower options and accessories like shower seats and grab bars. Whether you are looking for a simple Bathtub Installation using a liner or a complete Tub to Shower Conversion, the Roseville team manages the process from the initial Free Consultation through to the final installation. Their emphasis is on delivering a beautiful, watertight, and low-maintenance bathing space without the prolonged disruption associated with a traditional remodel.
Bath Fitter's Roseville location is conveniently situated in the Twin Cities metro area, making it easily accessible for customers across Ramsey and Hennepin counties and beyond, including areas like Scott, Carver, Anoka, Washington, and Dakota counties. This central location in the suburbs north of St. Paul is ideal for reaching their wide service area.

For the Twin Cities homeowner, choosing Bath Fitter is most valuable when your priority is a speedy, low-mess, and durable transformation of your existing bath or shower area, without the hassle and cost of a full, structural renovation. The Roseville team specializes in the Tub and Shower Renovation and Tub to Shower Conversion space, offering a unique product—the custom-fitted acrylic liner—that stands as a strong alternative to traditional demolition-heavy work.
The efficiency of their One Day Installations is a significant selling point, making them ideal for busy professionals, rental property owners, or those with only one bathroom. Furthermore, their specialization in Bathroom Safety accessories and Easy Access Walk in Showers makes them a top choice for Minnesotans focused on aging-in-place modifications.
However, due to the mixed nature of customer experiences, it is worth choosing Bath Fitter only after you have conducted a detailed, in-home consultation, have received a written contract that explicitly defines the full scope of work—especially if it involves any demolition like jetted tubs or structural changes—and have a clear understanding of the project's total cost. By prioritizing upfront communication and diligent contract review, homeowners can maximize the value of Bath Fitter's high-quality, long-lasting acrylic products and minimize the potential for procedural headaches, securing the elegant and maintenance-free bathroom they desire.

October 23 · Laura RadesIf I could give negative stars, I would. My experience with Bath Fitter has been a masterclass in incompetence, communication failure, and complete disregard for customer property.I hired them to remove a jetted tub and install a new tub and surround with corner shelves. Despite the sales rep visiting my home, taking photos, and hearing me clearly state that the jetted tub needed removal, the installer arrived completely clueless. He didn't know it was a jetted tub, didn't know how to disconnect the power to the pump, and left me to find someone else to do it.Day two was even worse. While removing the tub, the installer sawed through a live electrical wire, cutting power to my living room. His response? A casual phone call telling me that he "nicked" a wire, but also that I needed to contact the office because there was "an issue with my contract."The office rep then had the audacity to scold me about reading the contract, despite the fact that their installer had just severed my electrical wiring, saying that removal wasn't their responsibility. If removal wasn't their responsibility, why were they touching anything at all?Once I arrived home, I discovered that during removal, a pricey (though thankfully not heirloom) piece of furniture had been significantly damaged. There was no acknowledgment of that, no apology, and no accountability. The final product? A disaster of epic proportions:- the corner shelves do not match the color of the surround- the overflow pipe does not align with the tub hole (the installer's solution was to "just put some duct tape over it")- the caulking looks like it was applied with his big toe- trim pieces do not meet in the corners and are not flush on the edges- the surround does not seem to be affix to the wall securely, leaving visible gaps- and to top it off, the hot water line is now leaking thanks to their work, forcing me to shut off the hot water valve and clean up the damageThis wasn't just a bad experience, it was a parade of negligence. Despite all of my attempts to contact them through the means they've provided, I have heard nothing back regarding their plan to remedy this situation.Bath Fitter has shown a stunning lack of professionalism, skill, and customer care. I wouldn't trust them to install a soap dish, let alone a full bath remodel ever again.
October 10 · Erica ChristensenWe had two fantastic guys install our new shower. They were so personable and thorough. The new shower looks so nice. Definitly professionals that came across state to do this work.Kudos to Jason and Ben for this installation. They cleaned up both after the demo, and the installation. We're very satisfied with what we see.
June 25 · Pat RedepenningMarius did an excellent job installing a new walk-in shower. He worked a very long day and came back to finish up the next morning. We are very satisfied with the work he did and appreciate his dedication to getting it done right.
September 16 · JoyceI am so impressed with the installation that Wade did! He demolished our old shower and fully replaced it in a day. He made sure to keep me informed and get my input as progress was made, making sure the shelves and shower rod was at a height that I liked. You can clearly see in the pictures how much of an improvement this has made to our bathroom.
