I highly recommend Tom Mordini of Mordini General Contracting. I had a small project that I originally thought of back in the beginning of the year. I had some contractors quote it but they were either too busy to respond or start. Tom was able to jump on this project right away. I don’t know why I didn’t think of Tom – he did a kitchen, and two bathroom renovation 12 years ago when I bought my house. Tom’s proposal was detailed and on time. There was no confusion about what the expectations were. He even came up with some good ideas that I didn’t think of during his visit to give me an estimate. Tom worked in an efficient and quiet manner as it did not disturb us from working from home. The project turned out better than we expected, on time and no headaches. Tom Mordini has Recently remodeled my basement. When we moved in we were faced with a daunting task of having to tear everything down to the studs and do a full remodel of the basement into a usable playroom/theater. When Tom came in, he was very professional accurate with all of his Estimates. And his work was excellent. The job was completed faster than expected. We are very happy with the completed job. We couldn't be happy with Tom's work remodeling our kitchen! What seemed like an overwhelming project for us was handled expertly and professionally by Tom. Helping us select the most suitable materials and appliances for our project took a lot of the worry out of the equation. Each facet of the project was presented to us clearly, including a recap of what work would be required, timing for material delivery, any additional access which might be required (like access to the circuit box or the crawl space), and some of the unexpected things which we may need to address once demolition began (upgrading electric, new outlets, replacing pipes, etc.). Tom was on time every day and left the workspace neat-as-a-pin at the end of each day! His pricing was competitive with no hidden surprises. Anything which was unexpected which came up during the project was explained to us, a remedy discussed and agreed to, and his work continued. The project was finished on time. I would not hesitate to recommend Tom to anyone considering a make-over or remodeling project.
