DO NO WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share our experience with Marfa Cabinets so others can avoid the same nightmare. I'm honestly convinced that the majority of these positive google reviews are fake and manufactured by their team. Please reference Reddit for true customer reviewsWe spent a decent amount of money with Marfa expecting a premium product and service. What we got was months of stress, delays, miscommunication, and a complete lack of accountability. We were left chasing answers, correcting their mistakes out of pocket, and trying to get anyone on their team to take responsibility.Some highlights:Multiple components arrived damaged, missing, or incorrectly sized – including our custom pantry which had to be remade and delayed installation by weeks.Installers had to improvise fixes, make adjustments Marfa should have handled, and return multiple times at our cost.Parts were promised but either shipped late or not prepped as described – including Gola strips, toe kick brackets, lighting components, and hardware.We were passed around from team to team for months, with no one taking ownership. Even communication with the CEO fell through twice after he offered to speak with us.Despite the above, the only compensation we were offered was $1,500 – which doesn’t even cover the pantry alone, let alone all the added installation and repair costs we had to absorb ourselves.To make matters worse, Marfa delayed the refund even after agreeing to it, forcing us to send follow-up after follow-up just to get a basic resolution.Marfa's designs may look nice online, but behind the scenes, the experience was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. For the price and promises, we expected so much more—and instead we got one of the most frustrating vendor experiences of our entire renovation.I would strongly urge others to be cautious when considering Marfa Cabinets. Run away if you are looking for a good company and great product.No communication whatsoever you have tobeg to talk to someone and the owner is worse. I was supposed to received my orders beginning of Dec then end of December, I did received them but guess what some doors were mismatched, wrong cabinets were sent and finally get everything not even the order I was supposed to last May. They will have good communication at the beginning but wait until something is wrong with your order.Geno was the only person to reply after all and coordinate for me to receive the last pieces of the cabinets Which still missing some and just gave up at the end.Do not recommend, run run away

I hired Marfa Cabinetry in February to build shelves and cabinetry for my pantry. What should have been a straightforward project turned into a seven-month ordeal. After paying in full, I later learned that key measurements had been miscalculated. I tried to cancel, but was told that wasn’t possible.From there, communication was nearly nonexistent. I left over 15 voicemails, spoke with their kind receptionist many times, but never received a return call until I threatened legal action. When my order finally came, critical components—including the metal brackets needed to hang the shelves—were missing. I was told they’d be available “soon.” Months later, they still weren’t.Because of these delays, I had to pay contractors out of pocket to retrofit pieces and now to fabricate custom brackets ($1,200) just to finish the job. Marfa has only offered to reimburse me $150 per missing bracket, which doesn’t come close to covering the real costs their mistakes created.This experience has been frustrating, expensive, and time-consuming. If you value clear communication, reliability, and accountability, I would not recommend working with Marfa Cabinetry.

This is a genuine and honest review of our experience with Marfa Cabinets, and we hope it serves as a cautionary tale for others considering this company.We began working with Marfa Cabinets in 2024. During the design phase, we experienced a turnover of three different designers. One of them explicitly warned us about internal issues and described the company in very negative terms. At the time, we chose to ignore the comment, assuming it came from a disgruntled employee. Unfortunately, our own experience soon confirmed that the culture of the company—and especially that of its owner, Alexander Doroshko—is deeply problematic.We spent over $60,000 and were met with delays, poor workmanship, broken promises, and inadequate communication. A project that was initially estimated to take two days stretched into more than two weeks, with two different installation crews. Despite the disruption, the work was never completed properly.To date, we are still dealing with:Incorrect installation of all our vanitiesMissing LED light transformers for cabinets and vanitiesMissing closet rods and belt holdersCabinet damage that remains unaddressedThe owner personally assured my husband that these issues would be resolved. However, despite numerous follow-up emails, we have received no further communication or action.We've since learned we are not alone—other homeowners have reported similar issues, and we’ve been made aware of legal disputes involving the company, including lawsuits and demand letters sent to customers who used their products.Legal remedies are currently being pursued on our end. We strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Marfa.
