My bathroom remodel by Five Star was a very pleasant experience from beginning to end. The young man who performed the work was courteous and efficient. He cleaned up at the end of each day and worked with skill and integrity. The finished product was better than I expected. It wasn't just my bathroom that was transformed, but my way of life as well. Sales guy was really nice & down to earth, and not pushy... (Which is often the case with sales people)... We had no idea what we wanted & no experience with bathroom renos. But he was patient & had lots of physical samples we could see & touch. Not just photos. Process was pretty simple & they had LOTS of color/styles to pick from.... Price was higher than we would've liked (17k), but that's kinda the case with any bathroom renovation thru anyone.... Our completely out-dated, absolutely TINY, 1964 bathroom, which was covered in hideous pink tile, complete with pink toilet & sink, was gross from the moment we moved in 13 yrs ago, and completely unusable for the last 5 years as the shower and toilet were leaking through the floor to the basement when used (so we were literally down a full bathroom for years).... Removing the tile actually gave us a bit more space (tho it's still tiny, lol).. And it looks gorgeous, clean & modern now. Cleaning this bathroom will be a breeze compared to miles of tile & grout lines that are impossible to keep clean. But you literally just wipe this down.... We put off doing it for a decade thinking it would be a nightmare to renovate and would take weeks (as often the case with contractors), but they had it done in 4 days! With very little water shut off, which was nice, so we still had water for washing, dishes, laundry, etc . My biggest regret... Not doing it sooner...I really wish I had been enjoying this new bathroom for the last decade instead of just living with the pink nightmare we had... Spend your money wisely & thoughtfully - but don't put off until tomorrow what can be enjoyed today... Life is too short! And we spend a lot of time in our bathrooms... They are worth investing in. Wish I'd realized this sooner.

We loved our experience with 5 Star! Jaki was our sales rep and she was super responsive and flexible. She listened to our unconventional requests to move a couple walls and create a new spot for our laundry room. She came to our house multiple times to make sure she understood our needs and connected us to the people who could make it happen. Canales was the contractor they used and we loved them! Their work was thorough and beautiful! Craig was the project manager in charge of the work being done and he kept us updated and took care of us through the ups and downs of the install process. There was a couple hiccups, as with any construction project, but they never settled. When a piece of the shower did not measure correctly, they pulled it out and ordered us brand new pieces. While this did make the project take longer than expected, I so appreciate their attention to detail and their willingness to correct an error that they found, even though it meant a lot more time and money for them. Overall we are elated with our new space, and even a year later I get giddy stepping into my beautiful bathroom.
