★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Paul Lopez with Bathcrest listened to our needs for bathroom grab bars and clearly communicated what could be done and how he was going to do it. He arrived on time and installed the bars professionally, leaving no debris behind. Our experience with Bathcrest lived up to its recommendations. Fortunately, we don't need the grab bars yet, but it's better to have them now than need them after a fall!
June 25 · Rick ObstMy bathtub looks so amazing now that it’s resurfaced. What can I say about this company other than they’re absolutely amazing. Paul is a fantastic owner, you can really tell he puts his heart into this company. He was upfront with me about the process had great communication on getting things scheduled out and his guy Chris was on time to our 7:30am appointment.Did I mention our tub looks absolutely amazing! So shiny!!We were on the fence about doing a complete replacement of our tub because it was so bad. The tub had been repaired once before, but not very well and had a huge low spot that had to be repaired.Chris came up to Beaverton to take care of this for us. He is knowledgeable, and works very fast, and efficientlyI’m super glad I contacted Bathcrest. I could not be happier with our bathtub repair.I highly recommend this company for anything having to do with bathtubs.
February 24 · Daniel TerryI am sad to write this review of a company that has done good things in the past but unfortunately displayed gross unprofessional behavior and poor communication.I had an appointment set up for 1 pm last Wednesday, June 25th to repair scratches around the drain of my tub.I had let the secretary of Bathcrest know that the service person could come into my house at that time and that I would leave the door open and available for him to enter.I work out of my house as a physical therapist who specializes with trauma clients, and if I have service people come to my house I need to let my clients know the timing so that it is a safe and comfortable place with no surprises when a door opens unexpectedly.Phil from Bathcrest came at 11:45 am and opened my door to the main house which of course my client and I heard in my office. I was really surprised to hear someone in my house and as I had a client on the table in my office, I let them know that I would check out to see who was in the main house.I came across Phil in my bathroom, who saw my surprise and concern since I did not expect to have anyone in my house at that time. He defensively and stated with an angry tone that he already texted and called me that he would come at 11:45 am, and even though I did not confirm via phone or text that it was ok, he decided to just come through the front door of my house anyways.Of course, I was with my client, so I did not get that message and did not respond. If I had gotten the message I would have asked it to be at a time after 1 pm when it was originally scheduled. It is upsetting as a therapist when you attempt to create a safe and comfortable space for your clients with good communication and healthy boundaries, and service people decide to show up without agreement of timing, and are angry that you question this. In fact, I was so surprised at finding him in my house that I just left him to do the work so that I could continue to be professional with my client and give them the best session I could under the circumstances. It is one thing to have poor communication and another to have unprofessional behavior around it.I wish I could say it was a good repair, but unfortunately I still see a scratch, and I had to put on glove to gingerly take out the "goopy material" that was left in my drain, without pushing it deeper. He worked at most 15 minutes on my repair, and obviously did not take time to cover the drain.Prior to this particular situation, I had requested a discount for the Bathcrest repair work with Paul since it was such a small job and I already had communicated with Paul in the past around dealing with a recommended drain replacement. In the end after much phone tag I was told by the secretary at Bathcrest that I was already getting a discount and that I should just accept the price as it is, without ever directly talking to Paul.In the past I have had kind and good communication with Paul and the secretary, and I understand as a business owner myself that sometimes it is overwhelming to clearly communicate, so I was willing to let it slide.Unfortunately the handling of this latest repair was so grossly unprofessional with poor communication from Phil (Paul's brother) that I requested he never come back to my house again. I feel so strong about this that I decided to leave a review on this bad experience.I have communicated this via phone message to Bathcrest and in time I will decide if any other further actions should take place.I hope this review helps others to clearly express their needs and communicate a time frame with Bathcrest so that this situation does not happen ever again to anyone else.
June 29 · Christine RatchinskyThese guys were so professional, called in about a cracked tub for one of my real estate clients and they were straight to the rescue. Instead of my clients paying thousands to replace the tub these guys got us an estimate for repair quickly and had the job done in 2 weeks for a fraction of the price! Jess, the office manager was so helpful when I called in and the tech that came out to the job and made the repair Mason was so friendly with my people and they enjoyed the experience. 10/10 recommend these guys.
February 17 · Wayne AntonePhil Lopez from Bathcrest came in to do a repair on our shower where it had cracked on the bottom plus I wanted foam put underneath for more support. The shower doors and trim needed to be removed because we wanted a shower curtain. Phil was very friendly, professional and he was willing to answer any questions that I had on the project. He came in and made a template of the bottom of the shower for the fiberglass that he was putting into the bottom. He lived out by me and did this on his way to work and took that template back to the shop to cut out the fiberglass and trimmed it up and all.He took out the shower doors and trim before going to the shop also. Phil was conscientious about taking his shoes off at the door and watching that he did not hit anything when bringing his tools into the home.He cleaned up and filled in the holes for the screws and matching the color for the shower door trim that was removed. He did an excellent job, and you cannot even tell there used to be any trim there for the sliding doors or the screws. He was fast and yet doing things correctly according to what this job needed. When completed it turned out excellent and the colors matched very well, and the edges were smooth and blended in well with the existing fiberglass. The foam gives the bottom just that much more support to keep it from cracking in the future.I used to be a switch technician, supervisor, manager, and director for computer switching in the telecommunications industry. I really appreciate someone that cares about their jobs and want to do the best that they can and have a good attitude when doing the job.Phil, thanks for your excellent work and caring about the job that you did along with being very friendly and getting the job done quickly.
