Bath Fitter Introduce
For residents across North Carolina, from Raleigh and Durham to Fayetteville and beyond, the bathroom often represents an area in the home that is ripe for renovation, offering a blend of daily necessity and personal sanctuary. When looking for a solution that combines efficiency with quality, many local users turn to specialist contractors. Bath Fitter, operating from its main location in Garner, NC, is a prominent name in the region, focusing exclusively on bathroom remodeling, primarily utilizing their custom-fit acrylic bath and shower products.
Unlike traditional general contractors who handle entire home construction projects, Bath Fitter is a specialized interior construction contractor. Their core business model revolves around transforming older, worn-out bathtubs and showers by installing a seamless, custom-manufactured acrylic liner and wall system directly over the existing structure. This specialization is the foundation of their marketing promise: a beautiful, watertight bathroom transformation, often completed in as little as one day. This speed and minimal disruption are a major draw for North Carolina homeowners who need a functional bathroom quickly.
Operating as a dedicated remodeling, contractor, and supply company, Bath Fitter provides a full-service experience tailored to the bathroom's wet area. This includes everything from the initial design consultation to the manufacturing, installation, and follow-up service. The company's focus on acrylic liners, panels, and shower enclosures allows them to maintain high quality control over their proprietary products and installation processes.
In North Carolina, where construction projects over a certain dollar amount (historically $$30,000$ or more) require supervision by a licensed general contractor, specialist remodelers like Bath Fitter typically focus on project scopes that align with their specialty and potentially fall under specific trade licensing, such as plumbing, which the company addresses by employing or overseeing qualified master plumbers. It is important for local customers to verify that all necessary permits and compliance with the North Carolina State Building Code are handled for their specific project. The company's presence in the state is substantial, serving areas out of the Garner location and other North Carolina offices that cover the Piedmont and Coastal regions.
The Garner location also functions as a showroom and bathroom supply store, allowing prospective customers to view the various styles, colors, and accessories available for their bathroom renovation. This hands-on approach to design helps North Carolina users visualize their new space before any work begins.
Bath Fitter's main hub for the Raleigh and surrounding central North Carolina area is located in Garner, NC. This strategic location in Wake County allows them to efficiently dispatch installation teams to numerous communities in the region, including Raleigh, Durham, Fayetteville, Rocky Mount, and Oxford.
The physical address for the showroom and business operations is:
182 Cleveland Crossing Dr Ste 100, Garner, NC 27529, USA
For customers planning a visit to the showroom for a design consultation, the location is committed to accessibility. The facility provides both a wheelchair accessible entrance and a wheelchair accessible parking lot, ensuring that all prospective customers can easily access the displays and meet with design consultants to discuss their needs, including options for Easy Access Showers and Walk-In Showers. The office accepts various forms of payment, including Checks, Credit cards, and Debit cards, offering flexibility for project financing.
Bath Fitter specializes primarily in the wet area of the bathroom, providing targeted, high-impact remodeling services that minimize disruption. Their extensive list of offerings centers on the quick and effective transformation of bathtubs and showers using custom-manufactured acrylic materials.

Choosing a general contractor for any home renovation in North Carolina requires careful thought, and Bath Fitter presents a distinctly specialized option for bathroom work. What is particularly worth choosing about Bath Fitter is their emphasis on a streamlined, fast, and proprietary system, which can be an immense benefit for certain homeowners.
The key differentiator is the One Day Installation promise for the majority of their projects. Traditional full-scale bathroom remodels can take weeks, leaving a critical part of the home unusable. Bath Fitter's approach, which involves custom-fitting an acrylic liner and wall system over the existing space, greatly reduces this downtime. For busy North Carolina professionals, families, or those living in multi-generational homes, this minimal disruption is a highly valuable feature.
Furthermore, the company's commitment to durability is evident in their use of high-quality acrylic, which is non-porous and easy to clean, and the backing of their product with a Lifetime Warranty. This warranty offers homeowners long-term peace of mind regarding the materials and the seamless, watertight integrity of the installation. For a property owner focused on improving a bathtub or shower area without the mess and expense of a full gut-remodel, Bath Fitter provides a niche and efficient solution.
However, potential customers in North Carolina must conduct thorough due diligence, as with any major home improvement investment. While the company is BBB Accredited and offers strong product guarantees, it is essential to ensure that the scope of the work is clearly defined and all local permitting and inspection requirements—particularly concerning plumbing work handled by their Master Plumbers—are understood and met before the work begins. By choosing a specialist like Bath Fitter, homeowners are opting for a focused expertise that delivers a quick, reliable transformation of the most utilized area of their bathroom.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Bath Fitter definitely backs their product! 17 years ago, we got a walk-in shower put in and it was needing some help with the old adhesives. Robert and Brian came and evaluated our shower and within just a few days came out and completely redid the shower. A brand new base, brand new walls and everything is shiny and looks like a tile inset shower. Robert and Brian were friendly, they were fast, and they were the best to work with. I would recommend them 100% of the time.
April 08 · Michele HarlingContract signed 28 Oct. Work still not satisfactorily completed. Before this glass was installed the wrong glass was installed ,I wasn't home because they called day of to come install and I had appts so a friend stayed at my home. She didn't know what we were having done so she thought that's what we wanted. They then 3 weeks later install this. My husband was there for it but didn't notice the top and was told the bottom wouldn't leak because of the plastic lip on the bottom. There are HUGE gaps and it leaks water onto our floor. Our bathroom renovation has been on hold since this began because new flooring will not go in just to be ruined. #14:your contract states all work must be completed in 90 days. It's been more than 90 days. Anyone reading this please do due diligence! We will be using someone else to replace the glass and Bath Fitter don't you dare send us a bill,I know y'all won't call because y'all never do until weeks later. The deposit we paid is more than enough for what work you did do correctly! Their are no provisions to protect the consumer if something goes wrong such as our issue. It was not my duty nor anyone in my household to ensure the right glass was put in the first time. The glass company was told clear glass and that's what they did. We are not grifters as you have implied via BBB,but the job done isn't worth what was quoted due to length of time and mistakes,as well as phone calls never being returned. That is why we visited the Garner store,to have someone talk with us. And that is when the following took place. ➡️ Your previous manager spoke with my husband about discounting because of all of this.⬅️📌 From Nov til now is a loooong time for a shower install by industry standards, even with the wrong glass being installed. 😤😤😤😤 UPDATE shower doors were installed 2 weeks ago. 7 months and not once did we deny them entry into our home to do the work. $500 discount IF I agree to not tell truthfully of my experience. If we don't agree to gag ourselves the $500 is off the table. Almost like blackmail. Photos are included in this review. Which their attorneys Vennlawgroup calls defaming. Still waiting on Mike to do final inspection which is required by Fayetteville where I live. Buyer Beware. I'm not on the contract so I can speak freely. 7 months for a job that shouldn't have taken that long. And $500 is the best they can do. I contacted 5 on your side about this matter. At this point we want their product removed. Rusty Chris Cole Vennlawgroup come get your come remove your $10000 shower. Way to go treating people especially a veteran like this. Enjoy your freedom to handle business in a SHEISTY way.
May 09 · vicki holmes n familyRobert Griffin came to convert our tub/shower into a walk in shower. He called on the first day to tell us when exactly he would be arriving. After protection mats were in place on the floors he began working taking out the old one piece tub/shower and getting it ready for the city inspector to come and check off his work the next day. Robert came when he said he would, answered all of our questions and left everything clean and neat. This is the first time we have ever had work done without there being something that went wrong. Two days and we now have a wonderful walk in shower that is custom just for us, exactly what we wanted and sold by Bath Fitters. It was an amazing experience that I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever in choosing!
April 24 · LaWanda ZimmermanRobert did a wonderful job on my bathroom remodel. He did his best to make sure everything was perfect and that I was satisfied. I love my new bathroom and will recommend your services to everyone. Thank you!
May 18 · Joy WatsonBath Fitter did a fantastic job with my shower. Robert and Brian were excellent. They were here on time, fast, friendly and professional. A job well done. Bath Fitter stood behind their warranty without any questions and did what had to be done. I would definitely recommend them for any bathroom replacement. Thank you again Robert and Brian.
